Penny Murray on the subtle body

Penny Murray on the subtle body

Your host, Rachel Biffin speaks with her close friend Penny Murray, a Pilates teacher who has made her professional life about the study and exploration of human movement first as a professional ballet dancer and then as a Pilates teacher.

She taught Pilates in the top studios in the ’90s and like me, was in one of the early waves of teachers that spread Pilates to mainstream Australia at the beginning of the naughties. She owns and teaches within her studio Body in Song, in the Eastern suburbs of inner Sydney.
